Our Story

Afrisole Creations began with a personal journey from hardship to hope. Having experienced life on the streets, our founder made a powerful decision: to ensure that no young person faces their struggles alone.

What started as a small effort to support boys in need grew into a structured program offering counselling, skill development, and rehabilitation. As the organization evolved, ethical, purpose-driven tours and safaris were introduced as a sustainable way to support community work while showcasing Uganda’s beauty.

Today, Afrisole Creations continues to stand as a symbol of resilience, creativity, and second chances.

Afrisole Creations is a social enterprise based in Uganda with a deep commitment to transforming the lives of street-connected boys and vulnerable youth. Founded by someone who once lived these struggles firsthand, Afrisole Creations was built on lived experience, resilience, and a desire to turn pain into purpose.

Today, we provide counselling, mentorship, tailoring, craft-making, entrepreneurship training, and responsible tours & safaris that support youth rehabilitation and community impact. Every program we run is designed to restore dignity, build confidence, and create practical opportunities for a brighter future.

Tenywa Amos Nkwanga

Founder

My journey began on the streets, where I experienced hardship, uncertainty, and survival at a very young age. Instead of allowing those challenges to define me, I transformed them into a foundation of strength, purpose, and compassion. Guided by a deep desire to uplift others facing the same struggles, I founded Afrisole Creations, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering street boys and vulnerable youth.

I am passionate community leader, humanitarian, and children’s rights activist dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable youth in Kampala Uganda.
